my roots
I've been a professional photographer since 1998ish and have always loved creating my own place in the visual arts world. Capturing genuine moments - smiles, tears, laughter and peeking into the daily life of my clients. At the end of the journey, not only was I capturing the spirit of my clients, I was creating a gallery of them living in the moment. My all time favorite moments.
birds on BIRCH
Watching a barn swallow swoop in, performing aerial moves like a fighter pilot, hatched the idea for the birds on birch collection. Where my brain headed next was the Spanish translation of peacock - the translation: Royal Turkey. The collection birds on birch started with the first painting, the most infamous peacock - "Notorious B.I.R.D.” (See him above).
